Highland Avenue Community Church of the Nazarene in Rancho Cucamonga, California

2014 Patio Project

We are currently raising funds for the replacement of our patio. After our Worship Center, the patio is the second most important “room” at Highland.

Because of our moderate climate, this is where we make vital connections with each other before and after services. The immediate concern is safety. The cracked and raised sections are tripping hazards.

The second concern is that our current patio and adjacent handicapped parking does not meet the standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The patio design conforms to the long-range master plan that was created by Tom Matlock for our Worship Center and property.

This project includes modifying the angle of the handicapped parking to the north and it provides a gently slopping ramp to access the leveled patio. Construction will take at least 30 days and starts after Easter.

We have already accumulated savings that will cover more than half of this project. Your investment will cover the $25,000 needed for completion. Thank you for your help!
