This week we begin a three-week series called, “At The Crossroads.” We’re going to be talking about… “What do you do when you’re at a crossroad moment of life?”
I’m referring to those times when… at the crossroad you ask… “Do I make a decision to live the world’s way, or do I make a decision to live God’s way?” If we’re honest we would admit that the world’s ways are a lot easier to follow.
But we are called by God to live differently in this world. This concept of making good decisions at crossroads is seen in the words of the Prophet Jeremiah 6:16 (NIV)
“This is what the Lord says: ‘Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.'”
This Sunday, in a message entitled, “Getting Past Your Past,” we will look at how your past can be a roadblock to making good decisions and moving ahead in God’s will and ways when you are at a crossroad.
We will use the past life of Paul and his dramatic conversion as our major Biblical example for moving beyond your past. Join with us for this practical and helpful message.
