This week we continue in our current series, “A New Look At Purpose.” In a message entitled, “Habits Of Effective Christ Followers.” We will look at the Purpose of Fellowship and the habits necessary to be a follower or disciple of Jesus.
We all have good habits and probably some bad habits. As parents, we hope our kids pick up on the good habits. I developed the habit of wearing a seat belt years ago to model a good behavior for my kids that could also save their lives.
Habits actually shape our lives! Why is it that some people are more effective than others? Why is it that some people reach their goals and generally accomplish more? The answer is, effective people develop habits that ineffective people are unwilling to commit to.
Why is it that some followers of Christ are more dynamic than others? Why is it that some Christ followers seem to grow more, to have more answered prayers and more of God’s blessing on their life.
It is because they have committed themselves to spiritual habits that shape and mold them into effective followers of Christ. On Sunday, we are going to look at three of the most helpful spiritual habits that you can develop to be an effective disciple.
You will find these habits in every growing and dynamic Christ follower. Join us and discover how these same habits can begin to increase the growth and effectiveness of your life in Christ.
