We continue with our first message series of 2014 entitled, “Time For Change.”
Have you ever agreed to do something or attend when you knew you were too busy or exhausted to do it?
Right after you made that commitment you asked yourself, “Why Did I Say Yes?”
That is the title and the subject of this message.
Perhaps you’ve been living your life at such a fast pace, you’ve been cranking up the RPM’s so much that you’d just like to stop the engine and re-examine your life.
If you follow God’s way, He wants to begin changing your life by helping you to simplify your life. He can help you let up on the throttle! Jesus said in Matthew 11:28 (GW),
“Come to Me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest.”
God came to earth in human form as Jesus to not only teach us principles for living life to its fullest, but also to model “Christ-like” living!
As you study the life of Jesus, look what Jesus had time for. Jesus had time for deep relationships. Jesus had time for rest, influence, quiet, and greatness. And Jesus truly had time for God.
In these first days of 2014, if you are recognizing that it is time in your life for a change, join us as we look at what Jesus said and modeled about living life to the fullest without constant over commitment and chaos.
