Highland Avenue Community Church of the Nazarene in Rancho Cucamonga, California

Our School Director

Cyndee Allen

We’ve been blessed to have CynDee Allen as our School Director since January 2014. She came to us with a vast amount of experience in Early Childhood Education with strong Christian beliefs and values.

We had known CynDee since 2005 and were excited to finally get to partner with her to make Highland Avenue Christian School a safe and secure learning environment for our children.

CynDee had been directing Pre-Schools in Fullerton for 29 years while living here in Rancho Cucamonga. She studied Child Development at Fullerton College and sat on the Fullerton College Child Development Advisory Board.

She has been a long time member of Church Related Early Childhood Education Fellowship (CRECEF). During her years in Fullerton she co-led the North Orange County Director’s Network and put on Workshops and hosted many Teacher/Director events.

She also participated in the Program for Infant and Toddler Care Training in collaboration with WestEd and the Department of Education for two years.

In her introductory letter to our school parents CynDee wrote,

“Hello my name is Cynthia Allen better known as, Miss. CynDee. I had been directing in Fullerton for 29 years while living here in Rancho for the past ten. I’ve been fortunate to work with many dedicated teachers and wonderful families to build a safe and enriching Christian learning environment for children from all age groups, infants through sixth grade.

I studied Child Development at Fullerton College and sat on the Fullerton College Child Development Advisory Board. I’ve been a long time member of Church Related Early Childhood Education Fellowship (CRECEF) and NAEYC.

During my years in Fullerton along with a colleague of mine we lead The North Orange County Director’s Network, put on Workshops and hosted many Teacher/Director events. I also participated in the Program for Infant and Toddler Care Training in collaboration between WestEd and the Department of Education for two years. My favorite things about spending my days with young children are their incredible personalities along with their curiosity and creativity. When I retire I want to write a book about all the stories and things I’ve learned from young children. There is nothing more fascinating to me than the amazing growth and development of a young child.I have an open door policy and I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your children.

Blessings,
CynDee Allen.
