Highland Avenue Community Church of the Nazarene in Rancho Cucamonga, California

Information on Re-Opening

Dear Church Family,

Blessings to you on this hot day!  I trust the Lord continues to make himself known to you in these days.  On Monday the state and county of San Bernardino granted permission for churches to begin meeting under strict guidelines.  We have spent the past two days reviewing those guidelines and developing a protocol for re-opening the sanctuary for worship.

I will be receiving further guidelines and instruction from our district superintendent, Rev. Rollie Miller.  Also, I have spoken with our insurance company to understand what is expected to keep us in compliance with our policy guidelines.  The reality is this is a very complicated process by which we are not free to just be open for whoever wants to come.  Our initial guidelines will be established by next week.  Our timeline will be for a re-opening by reservation in the second half of June.

I will provide you with dates and plans once they are completed next week.  For this Sunday we will be meeting by livestream again.  Thanks for your patience.  The livestream will remain up and running even after we re-open.  We know many will not be ready to return to worship due to health concerns.
